SERVICES

CHILDBIRTH SUPPORT

A birth attendant is someone who is there for you, before, during and after the birth. She doesn’t replace anyone, but rather facilitates everyone’s work. She helps the partner find his or her place and feel at ease. She helps the mother find good positions and suggests massages or pressure points, etc. At times, her presence alone can be soothing, thanks to the bond of trust developed over the course of our meetings. She informs parents and shares her knowledge to help them make informed decisions.
Service includes: 3 prenatal visits, presence throughout labor and delivery, and 2 postnatal visits.
Cost: according to family income

POSTNATAL CARE SERVICES

The postnatal caregiver comes to your home in the days following the birth if you feel the need. She provides the mother with comfort care and helps her adapt to her new reality, so that the transition goes smoothly. In much the same way, she teams up with the partner to help with the adjustment of the first weeks or months. She adapts to the needs of each family she meets. She has training in perinatal care and breastfeeding, so she can respond to the new family’s questions and needs.
The service runs for 8 consecutive weeks (always on the same day).

Cost: $5 per hour
