Breastfeeding Support Service

Nourri-lait is an organization that offers free individual help and advice through an experienced breastfeeding coach to mothers who wish to breastfeed.

A coach has:

• Breastfed a child for at least 6 months
• Completed a basic breastfeeding-training course given by qualified professionals

but above all...  She is a committed volunteer who wishes to help other mothers, because she believes that breastfeeding should be a fulfilling experience for both mother and child.

Thanks to her experience, she can:

• Give you appropriate advice and information
• Answer your questions
• Soothe your concerns
• Encourage and support you

 A coach can help you in many ways:

• She meets you before the birth (if possible), so you can get to know each other.
• She visits you at home as soon as possible after the birth.
• She calls you on a regular basis during the following 6 months.
• You can call her whenever you feel the need.

 The help and guidance of a coach can make all the difference for a breastfeeding mother and her baby.
